CHRISTMAS SALE: Price cuts on games!

2020 has been a tough year and we all need a little entertainment in the dark months ahead! Therefore, we have decided to give the Amiga community an early Christmas present and massively reduced the price of
our three available games.

We have reduced the prices for both the digital versions on our website and the suggested retail price we recommend to our dealers for the physical copies.

The prices have been reduced to:

Gorky 17: Suggested retail price inc. VAT - EUR 14.95 (reduced from 19.95)
Decent Freespace: Suggested retail price inc. VAT: EUR 9.95 (reduced from 12.95)
Shogo: Mobile Armor Division (ONLY DIGITAL): Price inc. VAT: 9.95 (reduced from 14.95)

Shogo: Mobile Armored Devision version 1.9 for AmigaOS 4.1

Thanks to the ongoing commitment of Frank Menzel to improve your gaming experience, a new version 1.9 of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for AmigaOS 4.1 is now available from our restricted download section for registered customers. New customers automatically get the new version when downloading the full game archive for the first time. Existing customers with installed version 1.6 can download the pure update archive to bring their installed version up to 1.9 without the need of downloading the full archive again.

Changelog v1.6 to v1.9:

  • Added: Screenshots can now be taken with the F8 key. (PNG, if installed png.datatype supports saving, otherwise IFF)
  • Added: The Shogo Launcher and Multiplayer GUI has now catalog support
  • Added: Shogo, the launcher and the guide are now translated to German and Italian. (Thanks to Helmut Haake and Samir Hawamdeh for their work)
  • Added: The screenblanker is now deactivated while the game is running
  • Added: Intro with much better quality
  • Fixed: Minor bugfixes in the Shogo launcher and the game itself
 

Shogo: Mobile Armor Division available as digital download for AmigaOS 3 and 4

Hyperion Entertainment CVBA is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the first-person shooter game Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for AmigaOS 3 (WarpOS) and AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition from the direct downloads section of our website.

Customers can now buy this amazing game as a purely digital version at a price of only EUR 14.95 incl. VAT* for download from our restricted download area. The downloadable content consists of an image of the original CD for AmigaOS 3 (WarpOS) and an archived game drawer for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition.

The excellent port to AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition was done by Frank Menzel, who was already responsible for the just as excellent ports of Gorky 17 and Descent: Freespace.

Customers who already bought the boxed version will be able to download the AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition version free of charge after registration of their copy.

Update April 2, 2019

A new version 1.6 of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division for AmigaOS 4.1 is now available from our restricted download section for registered customers. New customers automatically get the new version when downloading the full game archive for the first time. Existing customers with installed version 1.5 can download the pure update archive to bring their installed version up to 1.6 without the need of downloading the full archive again.

Changelog for v1.6:

  • Fixed: Some inputs (like the ^ Key for console activation) could cause an ISI crash on some devices.
  • Fixed: If running another program with the same AHI unit in the background, Shogo could crash on exit.

 

 

Descent: Freespace available as digital download / update for AmigaOS 4.1

Hyperion Entertainment is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the space-combat simulation Descent: Freespace* for AmigaOS 68k/WarpOS and AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition from the direct downloads section of our website.
 
Customers can now choose between two formats of this amazing game:
  • a purely digital version at a price of only EUR 14.95 incl. VAT** for download in our restricted download area
  • or buy a boxed version*** at their preferred Amiga dealer. 
The downloadable content consists of an image of the original CD for AmigaOS 68k/WarpOS and an archived game drawer for AmigaOS 4.1 including all languages and manual.

Purchasers get a serial number inside their box or by email to register their purchase at our website in order to get access to our restricted download area for the game archive, the original ISO image as well as potential future updates. For a first look, free demo versions are available from the public download area.

The updated version for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition includes among others:
  • compatibility with Southern Islands based Radeon cards
  • new launcher with screenmode selection, language selection and other options
  • uses MiniGL texture compression if available
  • tons of game bugfixes including a fully playable tutorial
For existing customers of Descent: Freespace the updated AmigaOS 4.1 version is available free of charge after registering their genuine copy with their free Hyperion account on our website.

Descent: Freespace - The Great War is the highly acclaimed space-combat simulator from Volition/Interplay and offers an unparalleled mix of top-notch graphics for its time, plot and game-play. It is widely considered one of the best space-combat simulators ever and gained lots of kudos from all important game magazines. The game was originally released in 2001 for AmigaOS 68k/WarpOS and in December 2004 for AmigaOS 4 by Hyperion Entertainment CVBA.

Gorky 17 available as digital download

Hyperion Entertainment is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the horror conspiracy game Gorky 17 as direct download purchase from the direct downloads section on our website.

Customers not being able or willing to buy a physical copy from an Amiga dealer can now purchase this purely digital version from everywhere in the world at a price of EUR 24.95 incl. VAT*. The downloadable content consists of an archived game drawer including all languages and manual. Just extract and run... "AmigaOS style" :-)

Purchasers of course also get a serial number by email to register their purchase at our website in order to get access to our restricted download area for possible updates and backup copies of the game archive as well as the original ISO.

For existing customers of Gorky 17 we also made an updated installation script available from our restricted download area, which fixes installation issues on Update 1 of AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition.
 
 
Gorky 17 is a horror conspiracy game mixing elements of strategy and RPG gameplay. You, the player, command a small group of NATO soldiers who must reveal the mystery behind the sudden appearance of hybrid creatures in a small Polish city named Lubin. The game was originally released in October 2015 for AmigaOS 4 by Hyperion Entertainment CVBA.
